We know, so few have actually skied this mountain. But that doesn't mean you can't hang it on your wall and daydream about the lines!
Meteorite Mountain
Meteorite Mountain is aptly named. This area in Alaska was struck by a meteorite in 1927, and the impact created a crater named “North Ramp,” which is considered one of the best ski lines in the world. Snow and weather conditions have to be close to perfect to ski this Meteorite Mountain, and very few skilled skiers have accomplished this ride. Meteorite Mountain, like some other mountains, are at risk due to overpopulation, development, climate change, and agriculture.
