Fleeing Giraffe 

The tallest mammal in the world. Incredibly peaceful. What if you were being hunted because of the beauty of your skin? This is exactly what is happening to a handful of giraffe sub species. Fragmentation, habitat loss and illegal poaching critically threaten three species of the giraffe, Kordofan, Nubian, and Reticulated giraffe. Spots on their hides and tails believed to be medicinal - they are not - threaten their existence.
