The Wave, Arizona

If you’ve been there, you know, and if you haven’t been, you must. If you are one of the lucky 20 individuals who can visit per day, you are lucky enough! The Wave, aptly named for its flowing rock formation, began developing over 180 million years ago when desert dunes at the Arizona/Utah border compacted and solidified into striped sandstone. It’s places like this that fill our hearts with wonder, and inspire us to keep getting out and exploring the beautiful world around us. Help make sure we protect these incredible gifts for everyone to enjoy.
