There are over 150 species of tulips, with over 3,000 naturally occurring and genetically cultivated varieties. Tulips usually have a very sweet scent and depending on the variety can grow from a few inches to over two feet all! The flower is delicate and prone to insects, viruses and fungi. I wanted to replace a hat that I'd lost with a similar design. My old one had a gray mesh back and a teal brim but REI no longer carried it. This one had similar colors and the same design, but trying it on, the teal insert makes the hat fit oddly. If I didn't love the design so much, I would have returned it

Hi Natasha! This hat is a 7 panel hat. The one you previously got from REI was a typical foam trucker. They are very different in style. :) The 7 panel isn't for everyone - it's a bit bulker, doesn't have foam, and wider. :) It's still a great hat! Just a personal preference.

We are an orca loving family and my favorite colors are teal and blue, so it felt like the hat was made for me! Fits well and kept the sun off my face during multiple trail races recently
