There are approximately 4000 species of daisies that differ in size, shape, color and type of habitat and are found on every continent except Antarctica. Like most wildflowers, they require less water and fertilizer, are less prone to disease, and are more tolerant to pests. Wildflowers can improve soil health, prevent erosion, help create groundwater filtration systems, and reduce the impacts of drought.
